Who is Bob Ross?  He is a good friend of Las Campanas Compadres and has invited LCC to be his guest this Saturday on the radio show, “Gardens, Food and Santa Fe” which he hosts and his crew broadcasts from the Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings.

Much of Saturday’s discussion will be about LCC’s  fundraiser, the fourth annual Mini-Triathlon, which is planned for the morning of September 3rd.

What Are You Doing the Morning of Labor Day? Please Help Us!

Friends and Family of Las Campanas Compadres,

We want to remind you of our upcoming Mini Triathlon fundraising event and the importance of its success.

Las Campanas Compadres now has over 40 students enrolled in the riding and swimming programs. We have committed to giving 12 riding lessons per week, and 16 swimming lessons per week. In dollar terms, that means we are spending close to $1,000 every week for lessons. The mini tri is our only fundraising event of the year and we depend upon its success to ensure that we have adequate funding.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever and we are going to need a total of 70 volunteers on the day. As of today we only have half that number. So we are asking you to please offer up your services on the day. It is only for a few hours and promises to be a lot of fun.

The LCC event is on the morning of September 3^rd. Labor Day. If you would like to help out in any capacity or have any questions, please contact us at lascamp@msn.com or call on 505 820 2707.
